Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days without providing any reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days from the day you, or a person appointed by you (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the goods.
3. How to Cancel
To cancel your order, please:
- Notify us in writing: You can do so by emailing orders@deck-smart.co.uk or by post to DeckSmart, Unit 1, Peel Street, Abergele, Conwy, LL22 7LA.
- Include the following details: Your order number and a clear statement of your decision to cancel.
Once your cancellation request is received, we will confirm receipt and provide you with further instructions.
4. Conditions for Returns
To be eligible for a refund, returned items must:
- Be in their original condition and packaging.
- Not show signs of use or damage (unless the product is faulty or not as described).
- Be returned within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation.
- 10% restocking charge will be applied to goods returned that are not faulty.
5. Returning Your Goods
- Packaging: Please securely pack the items to prevent damage during transit.
- Return Address: Send your returns to DeckSmart, Unit 1, Peel Street, Abergele, Conwy, LL22 7LA.
- Shipping Costs: You will bear the cost of returning the item unless the return is due to our error (e.g. the product is faulty or misdescribed). We recommend using a tracked delivery service for returns as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
6. Refund Process
- Inspection: Upon receipt of your returned goods, we will inspect them to ensure they meet the return conditions.
- Processing Time: Once approved, your refund will be processed within 14 calendar days.
- Method: Refunds will be issued using the same method of payment used for the original purchase.
- Return Shipping Costs: If applicable, any return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to our error.
- Restocking Fee: If applicable, a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
7. Faulty or Misdescribed Goods
If you receive a faulty product or one that is not as described, please contact us immediately. In such cases, you are entitled to:

- A replacement product, or
- A repair.
We will also cover any return shipping costs for faulty or misdescribed goods.
